Black and White Stork

When I was in the woods yesterday I got very startled by a massive bird that flew away. At first I thought it was a bird of prey, but then I saw it was the magical and elusive Black Stork! This is a rare creature, and very different from its close relative, the white stork.

the difference between white and black storks

White storks prefer to be around humans and will nest on roof tops and in busy places. If you live in a place they frequent, you know they’re there.

Black storks on the other hand, are secretive and shy creatures and nest in large, old trees in inaccessible places far away from humans and the hustle and bustle of human settlements.

extravert & introvert

It made me think of extraverted and introverted people.

To me being introverted doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy the company of others. For example, I really enjoy throwing a party in my village community here.

But once the party is over I need everyone to bugger off and leave me alone for a day or two, so I can process all the input and recharge.

Like the Black Stork I prefer my homebase to be peaceful and quiet.

business for calm and quiet loving souls

As I said, I’ve been thinking lots about life and business for calm and quiet loving souls over the past weeks..

What do they need specifically?

What kind of business strategies are perfectly suited to them?

And how can I support my website clients specifically with soulful AND savvy website strategies that help them do what they love, get clients, and create life on their terms while leading a balanced and relaxed life?

I feel my passion for this is growing and everything is coming together.
And I find it very exciting!

I call it “heart-shaped business”.
A business where living your purpose and sharing your gifts is important.

But where you’re also present for what is around you here and now.

Less doing and more being.

Less pushing and more flowing.

Doing things with the right energy is important, and those kinds of energies are magnetic for like-minded souls that would be your ideal clients.

Making it all an enjoyable creative journey and exciting adventure to create your online space. Whether you do it yourself with my help, or I create it for you.

Do you feel more like a hustle and bustle white stork that thrives on being close to the action and loves being in the spotlight most of the time?

Or a black stork, that throws the occasional party and loves connecting deeply, but retreats in their own peaceful world to recharge and relax?

And are there things in your life and business that you are doing differently because of how you are wired?

all storks can fly

One thing I know for sure: all storks can fly. And very well too; all the way to Africa and back every autumn and spring!

I hope they can inspire us to fly too …
